I might be handing in a blank ballot this year. I'll gladly do the work to participate in our democracy, but I can't vote for politicians who continue to toe the party line without realizing that factional politics are the way of the past. I'll be more likely to vote municipally, while federal politicians learn how to decentralize governance, speak with sincerity of their own plans and values, and co-operate.
