Although I recognize that Canada has an unfair and ineffective voting method and electoral system, I value democracy and I value my rights. I want to set an example of participation and involvement in Canadian politics not apathy for young Canadians, like myself. I value political engagement and by voting, I am defending my values and expressing my vision for the type of country I want to live in. I vote because I want to create and inspire positive change in Canada. 1
